[Gm2] latest cvs checkin

Hi,

the latest checkin fixes more nested procedure bugs as exposed by the
regression tests, when built with gcc-4.1.x.  Another Ulm library
compiles but it now fails on Calendar.mod.. it appears that a constant
is poisoned (was garbage collected when it was still in use).

Also included in the cvs is a patch to allow gm2 to be built with
gcc-4.1.1.
