Greetings:
Gm2 built successfully under Solaris 9 on Sparc.
Make gm2.paranoid also succeeded once it started.
The Makefile within the gcc subdirectory equated SHELL to /bin/sh,
which is the Korn shell and not bash. Changing the equality to /bin/bash
solved the problem and it chugged along to completion.
