Role- Tier III – Linux Designation Senior Engineer Office timings 24*7 environment Summary: • Hosting system support and administration (Linux OS). • Monitors and responds to system alerts in our hosting environment. • Customer service, with a focus on positive, professional and proactive end-user contact through phone, email, and the ticketing system. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Work through shared hosting and dedicated server customer issues and escalate to on-call or engineering support staff when necessary. • Provide end users with configuration information, and assist them in successfully configuring their services, troubleshooting and escalating. • Provide support and trouble resolution to the customer base via phone, email and ticketing system within the necessary SLA's as determined by company policy. • Continued advancement in expertise and knowledge regarding applicable OS systems, related software, server configurations, and other elements that support company products and services expected. • Good Team Player • Server Monitoring • Sound Knowledge of how to resolve DNS/Name server issues. • Sound Knowledge of resolving Mysql issues • Should be ready to work in a 24*7 environment.
