Well its just a start so i can't say whether i will be able to take it upto the level you have taken your mirror
at present bandwidth is shared with some two labs which later on can be changed to dedicated from the main connection campus is connected with 30Mbps line and i am getting some 3 to 5 on the mirror system for a start we have planned to use the single machine which later on can be scaled to more as lab we have enough machine to serve for that.
just wanna know about similar problems you have mentioned in the reply. that can be taken care

i have already got the permissions from the department. i have a server
machine DELL poweredge 1950 with IP and all that
u were part of the team for setting up repository, need your guidance and
support for setting one here

That is nice.
Apart from what has been documented in the Fedora wiki, what other
help do you need? You might need some help in making sure your mirror
does not choke the university network. Fedora mirrors can experience
very high traffic.

Currently the mirror sits on a 14Mbps leased line, and shares a subnet
used by the other university servers. Currently we limit the Fedora
mirror to 25 concurrent client connections and 512Kbps per client. If
you are using FTP to serve the content, it is very easy to configure.
We also have a GNU, TLDP and OpenOffice.org mirror, but due to the
lower traffic we don't throttle them.
Since I am no longer in campus, I might be wrong if Varun has changed
something. He will be the one knowing the latest details.
