Would you like to travel to Switzerland, hack 24h on your open source project and try to win USD 5000 with two other members of your community? Then have a look at Hackontest, the new Google-sponsored 24h programming marathon taking place at OpenExpo on September 24/25, 2008 in Zurich. Sign up now, register your project, add feature requests, rate and comment on them and sign up to implement them. Also you're welcome to just submit and rank feature requests for those projects that have already registered.

Thus if you can motivate the people within your community to push your project and if you're willing to implement many features, then you and your project might get chosen on August 1st, 2008 by the Hackontest jury.
