         Unlike previous information given, i have found something new  about running Gtalk on pidgin .
The problem is with jabber protocol, as it uses 5222 and 5223 ports for SSL which is blocked by our proxy server. So use XMPP protocol and in ADVANCED tab check 'force old(5223) SSL ',and  use 443 as connect port .
Fellowmates should try their hands on it.
