Due to a probable bug in Istanbul whatever video I save using it gets 600 as its file permission. As a result the Istanbul screencast might have given a 403 error. It should be alright now.
Which is why I got it directly from razorblade ;) Anyways, deviating from the thread, could you put a cron.daily script to take care of permissions for /home/*/public_html? Things would be really smooth for everyone then! Because the httpd_sys_content_t type can't be set by non-sudo users. Arjun
