        Against the following source code, gtags aborted by short of memory.
        Now it works.
        
        $ cat nullstring.php
        <?php
        define('');
        ?>
        $ gtags
        gtags(1921) malloc: *** mmap(size=18446744071562072064) failed (error 
code=12)
        *** error: can't allocate region
        *** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
        gtags: short of memory.
        $ _
