This is going heavily off topic, but it's good to revive the mailing ;)
You'd better do that soon, because the Longhorn in 2006 will not be
compatible with the XP and old windows apies, and the palladium is going
to make people who only like windows because it is easy to use hate it
even more. It will be the end of windows operating system, or it will
stay as an operating system for some nostalgic people, somehow a gold
edition. You know the artist they do a gold edition of thair books when
they die, witch looks nicer, but witch has no future, (or maybe only a
future because of wine lol)
haha, yes! well I'm staying with win2k and really don't plan to upgrade
that! so linux will come on my computer anyway, I won't stay with win2k
during my whole life. :)
About the flash.. it hink it works somehow with wine or with crossover....
Yes, and if I continue with flash I'll more work with the "open" part of
the spec and generate flash files from php or use a less featured but
free flash creator.
Many graphic designers are completely dependent of the adobe suite and
cannot imagine their life without it. I say you can already do so many
cool stuff with much simpler programs that adobe is only useful if you
really are an industrial production work flow such as magazines.
Furthermore you can do really cool generative stuff with basic
programming, and commercial programs generally don't push that much.
So let's live free! :D
