I disagree, strongly. For technical work, it makes more sense to have
discussion in written form over a longer time, than during a short
mostly oral marathon. Somewhat like ietf work. (I imagine this could be
done on bug-standards, but I'm not (yet) subscribed there, possibly with
some "chair" persons / "facilitators" to keep track of progress on
identified subtopics).

I'm sure there can be interesting and useful discussions at a ghm, but
main technical work ought to be done on list.
