[Gdb] Question

Hello all

I am really sorry if this has been asked before.  I am
new to this list.  I am trying to diagnose the
following message I receive while inside DDD which I
have setup over gdb.

[tcsetpgrp failed in terminal_inferior: Inappropriate
ioctl for device]

Do I need to upgrade to another version of gdb or
apply a patch or something.  

Any tips really appreciated.
