Regarding the devices in the Gcmd options dialog: For the time being I
left the devices part in Gnome Commander for compatibility reasons also
after the migration to gio, but on the long term I think it will
confuse users. Gio volumes are now auto discovered and added to the
list of devices in gcmd. Maybe it would be more intuitive to move the
functionality of manually added devices in Gcmd over to the directory
bookmarks. I am open to sugestions :)
My observations on devices:
When I compiled and ran GC last week and got the Segfault,it ran right away.
I had noticed that all my devices (hard drives) were showing.. That seemed to
be a good feature except for It had my efi partition, boot, and home listed..
I looked for a way to exclude those, but couldn't find a way. One other thing I
noticed, since applying the patch that Mamoru provided nothing is listed in the
Device list.. I would be more than happy to try different patches or provide
more info if need.
Thanks for your efforts, Greg
