Good morning,

Please allow me to report that I was able to successfully configure
--without-unique and then make and make install
DESTDIR=/opt/gnome-commander-1.6 on my CentOS 7 machine. I followed the
instructions on the gnome-commander CentOS 6 page adjusting to the newer
1.6.3 version. I copied the libs and executed ldconig - again
adjusjusting for the newer version. Finally I copied the pixmaps. So
far, so good. The executable is located in
/opt/gnome-commander-1.6/usr/local/bin. When I attempt to run it I get
the following errors. I have verified that the various pixmap files
were in fact copied. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Ken Taylor

Hi,

as discussed recently in gcmd-devel, I wanted to release a small
bugfix concerning (lib)uniqe. I did this some minutes ago. :)

Here are the changes:

Bug fixes:
----------

Bug fixes:
  * libunique (sometimes called only 'unique') is now optional via
    configure option (--without-unique). If the library is missing on
    your system, Gcmd can still be build.

New or updated translations:

  * cs (Marek Černocký)
  * de (Mario Blättermann)
  * es (Daniel Mustieles)

New or updated docs:

  * pl (Piotr Drąg)
  * pt_BR (Rafael Fontenelle)
