Folks,
How about we make some kind of a public poll, where anyone speaks up for
his most useful gnome commander feature (I know Michael has a dozen
prepared).
Then a second one about the most missed feature(s).
This way, we would at least be able to come up with a means of determining
what is GC3 for its users.
Since we're talking about software that's distributed through means of
distros' packagers, I propose we pop up the announcement for the poll in
the first run of gnome-commander when updating next.
This way, we would gather 'requirements'. Picking technologies is easy: use
Gtk:) But internally on this ML you can poll the developers on what they
would be more comfortable with (Python? Vala? D?)
Anyway, just my thoughts..
