OOO right...ok......just thought it would make sense if the path belongs to
the tab more. in the future. Instead of belonging to the "window".

Well looking a tabs position and tab well known spot.

If I have example a disk on /opt/disk1 and I want to have it in the left
most tab as a "standard" (locked) tab. When I start gnome-commander then
everytime that tab is marked with a * to indicate it is locked in that
position.

If I enter something in that tab, then a new tab is opened (or could be
configured as being able to be opened in locked tab). So the locked tab
stays the same always.

That way locking it. Holding position in gnome-commander and position on
system.
