Honestly, i think what interests is the free space, not the total one, and
users prefer to be lazy ...
Why not another line 'Free disk space' ? There's no need to keep that window
short.
The term 'Size' should probably then 'Folder content size' or so, to be clear.
I checked with nautilus, they say 'Free space' and 'Content'.
They also count the items, well, i think this is not really important in daily
usage.
But free space is. For example, since i started my own HD video clips, some
shared 'exchange' partitions (in a small home-net) run out of space rapidly and
i need to keep and eye...
Konqueror shows a full 'Device usage' line like in df -h. Krusader und Dolphin
are using the same module. This module is overkill IMHO, or, given the amount
of information, at least it's bad layout.
Well, they give the mount point, that's also useful, but they call it 'mounted
on', for every folder *sigh*.
Total Commander ... ?
