Ok, then. Let's stop it...and move on to the other features you mentioned.
Finally, disputing where a toolbar should be is a little bit fussy. It's rather
that the whole filesystem representation needs to be reworked some day, and
then we'll hopefully see some totally new ways of navigation.
Since they tumbled down from the trees, humans use to orientate by landscape,
landmarks, and 'items'. Alphanumeric signs (URI pathes) are not the last word
anyway.
It could be more like flying through a landscape (and you always could use a
train or hire a taxi, that is, use a search engine), for example...but, with
years passing by, one learns that thoughts are faster than reality...
