Greetings!  Am happy to report some progress on the development
infrastructure front.

1) We are now able to upload to ftp.gnu.org.  Unfortutunately, we
   cannot yet tag/commit to CVS, so I'm going to wait for the latter,
   tag the latest 2.6.1-xxx as 2.6.2 and release a tarball to
   ftp.gnu.org. 

2) We have been requested to audit our CVS changes between 9/06 and
   when the compromise to savannah was discovered sometime in
   November.  I'm going over the whole thing, but I'd like those
   who've made commits in this period to also review the changes
   they've made, and ensure that the corresponding diffs match.  The
   CVS changes can be found at

        ftp://ftp.gnu.org/savannah/changsets/gcl-changes.tar.gz

3) Uploads to Debian have been reennabled, but the autobuilders are
   not functional yet, nor is access to our distribution page at
   debian.org. I have been given a mechanism to restore access to the
   latter, but it is not yet functional.  For now, our distribution
   page can be found at
