I guess without further hacking it could be used to mark waypoints based
on imagery, saved then imported into an OSM editor. From the features I
didn’t see anything about Yahoo! imagery*, or using with OSM data
directly.
*Note that it absolutely has to be Yahoo! imagery (or free imagery, such
as that offered by OpenAerialMap[1]) since they are the only ones who
have said it fits with their terms of service. Others (Google and/or
Teleatlas and Navteq) believe that breaks their terms and/or constitutes
a derived work and breaches their copyright.
