Nope, the ldconfig(8) man page <http://linux.die.net/man/8/ldconfig>
makes clear that only /lib and /usr/lib are hardcoded, everything else
must be explicitly specified. On my Debian system:

include /etc/ld.so.conf.d/*.conf
