Ah, I see the x_scale and x_ppm fields in FT_Size_Metrics; I'll experiment with those.

Subject: [ft] Facility to scale design unit value to current size

Hi there,

I'm a FreeType neophyte.

I'm reading the usWinAscent and usWinDescent from the 'OS/2' table, which are of course in font design units.

I'd like to convert these to size-scaled values in the same way that FT_Set_Char_Size does when setting the current FT_Size_Metrics.

Is there a facility to do this, or should I just scour the source code for FT_Set_Char_Size and try to replicate what's happening there?

I looked at the API but couldn't find anything suitable; apologies in advance if I missed something.

Thanks,

Sairus
