Hi, I have joined now to mailing list because I have problem to build freetye. I have downloaded freetype 2.3.11 I have an error at the configure stage, it did not produce a makefile. you can find the error in the log I attach. The system I use: address@hidden:~/nowcom$ uname --all Linux segal 2.6.31-16-generic #53-Ubuntu SMP Tue Dec 8 04:01:29 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux My attempt to build freetype: address@hidden:~/nowcom$ cd freetype-2.3.11/ address@hidden:~/nowcom/freetype-2.3.11$ cd builds/unix/ address@hidden:~/nowcom/freetype-2.3.11/builds/unix$ ./configure
run configure in the top level directory, not in builds/unix. Same for make.
