1600x1200 is the "native" resolution of my A31p Thinkpad, so it is
optimized for this resolution.

Do you know what Thinkpad they have? My 15" TPA20p LCD has a native
resolution of 1400x1050, and I know there are similarly sized 1600x1200
out there.
