Please don't send binaries to this list.  Usually, they have only
limited usage.  Provide URLs instead.

In case you have received this package as pre-compiled, complain to
the packager that he hasn't provided libintl.a resp. hasn't disabled
National Language Support (nls).  Or maybe a dependency is missing in
the package control file to install the gettext package also (which
contains libintl.a).

If this doesn't help, get the source package of FreeType 1.3.1 and run
the configure script with the `--disable-nls' option and compile
again.
