ftstring.c to MFC? |

FreeType provides a nice example to display text in
a Microsoft window, ftstring.c. I have been trying
to convert ftstring to a MFC program. I'm having
some difficulties.
I have gotten so far as to get the freetype program to
create its window as a child of my MFC default window.
In other words, I've gotten the library and much of
the C code ported into Visual C++ 6. BUT, I want to
display the text in my own window -- get rid of all
the 32 driver code.
I'm tenacious! I sometimes send a box car after a brick.
But I bring that brick home! Thus, I know, with some
more work, I will overcome my problems. But; It occurs to
me, that this conversion has likely already been done by
someone more skilled than I. If so, hopefully you will
be willing to share.
