I suggest following BZIP2 and PNG examples:
FT_CONFIG_OPTION_USE_SVG
or better yet per library
FT_CONFIG_OPTION_USE_LIBRSVG
FT_CONFIG_OPTION_USE_RESVG

Or, you can just prioritize the separate renderers. Do not waste your work.
