I 've sent Erik ttfautohint 0.8 versions of Oxygen to confirm the problem.

This looks like Oxygen has been hinted with an older version of
ttfautohint which was buggy... Current version is 0.8. In case the
font doesn't contain a glyph named `.ttfautohint', you can simply
rerun ttfautohint on it to update the hints.
