This is now in the git repository. I've attached two images: The
first one shows the difference of pala.ttf at 13ppem before and after
the change (red pixels are new).
A previous change (a few days ago) improved handling of `stubs'. The
second image shows the difference in the rasterization of tahoma.ttf
at 11ppem.
