I searched my archive and found:

1) "The Type 1 GX Font Format, September 27, 1995, 2:36 PM"
which is a technote (13 pages) distributed with the Quickdraw GX 1.1.3
package.

2) "QuickDraw GX Font Formats", Apple 1995
Book, Inside Macintosh style (326 pages)
