[Devel] libfreetype.a file size much different in Red-Hat Linux

Hi,

           I build the libfreetype.a using freetype-2.1.3 open source,

but found the lib built by me is much larger than the one in Red-Hat Linux /usr/lib/ libfreetype.a.

Built by me libfreetype.a file size is about 2092 K.

Red-Hat Linux /usr/lib/ libfreetype.a. file size is 391 K.

Why  and how to reduce the file size?
