[Devel] mail `attack' stopped

Dear FreeTypers,


it seems that the flood of mails has stopped now.  The problem was
apparently either a misconfigured email system or a bug in the email
system's components -- it was not Fernando's fault!  I really hope
that we get an answer from the system's administrator, explaining how
this could happen.  I have never seen such a thing before, and I
really hope it will never happen again.

Please be fair: Fernando is a victim as we all are.

FYI: It was not possible to fix the mail flood using the mailman
administrator interface; since there is just a single Email from
Fernando in the archives it is obvious that the failure happened on a
lower level, bypassing mailman completely.
