You're right. This option did not change much. Obviously I got confused with
the configurations while testing all of the combinations. The bytecode 
interpreter must
have been switched off while I did the rebuild with this config. When it's on I 
get the
same "waving" results.
The imges generated without bytecode interpreter, with and without component
offset scaled differ only a little in file size. But you won't notice a visible 
difference.
