First of all, without saying which dpi you are using the value `10pt'
is completely useless. I tried with 72dpi and 96dpi, and I can't
repeat your problem using the current CVS version of FreeType 2 in
combination with ftview, checking both autohinting and native TrueType
hinting.
Please give more details on your setup.
