Is there an opentype standard for bitmap only sfnts?
Apple has one ('bhed' instead of 'head' tables, etc.)
What format would X expect to use?

PfaEdit currently has a kludge for the MS platform because I'm under 
the impression that it needs a 'glyf' or 'CFF ' table, but if there's a 
better way of doing things I'd like to know...
