[Devel] bdf driver 0.0.1

Hello,

the bdfdriver-0.0.1.tar.gz archive is available from:
        
  ftp://ftp.ens.fr/pub/di/users/zappa/software/

It contains a BDF driver for FreeType2.  It is believed to work fine
with any recent FreeType2 CVS.

Warning: this version of the driver does not perform incremental glyph
loading, that is, it keeps a font entirely in memory.  Currently, I
have not enough time to implement this (even if it is on my to do
list).

I have never seen a bdf font that defines vertical metrics, so
vertical metrics are parsed and then ignored.  If you own such a
thing, please, send it to me (if font's license allows this) and I
will implement vertical metrics ---this should take no more than 10
minutes.
