Congratulations!

Side question, I was about to send out a wrapper for FreeSCI for Mac OS X, due to the nature of ScummVM (build in game loader/setup) would it still make sense to continue this?

Hi everyone,

there had been some speculation on this based on the intensified
interaction between project lead developers already, but now it's
official: FreeSCI becomes CABAL::SCI, one of the modules of the
'CABAL' project ("Coalesced 'Adventures Beyond Architectures'
League"), effective immediately. CABAL is a joint project trying to
unify several existing adventure game engines; you can get the details
from the FreeSCI, Sarien or ScummVM homepages.

CABAL will be hosted on 'arch' (tla), which is a considerably more
powerful revisioning system than CVS (Debian users should be able to
download the 'tla' package in the usual way). The current master
address@hidden archive is, unfortunately, broken,
due to a HD failure (but the wonders of 'arch' allow us to keep not
just local copies, but local mirror archives, so most developers (...)
are working on these ATM).

I've put up a link to the last daily snapshot of CABAL on the FreeSCI
downloads page. (Note that I'm not sure whether this version had
working automake/autoconf setup, but you should be able to build
everything by hand.)
