Well, we are working with the CVS head of Ruby w/the freeruby stuff I
built, so it does not surprise me. Sounds like the shared libraries
were hanging around and would not release and a reboot cleared this.
This pain stems from Ruby's lack of clean native thread support I think.
Also, the core Ruby developers are not Win32 folks so it does not get
the same attention that Linux does. I have had many a seg fault as of
late when working with native extensions under win32 and Ruby...more
than usual. Maybe I should rebuild from the head soon and see if it
fixes things.
