Patch: Virtual Destructor

This concludes code submissions to permit gcc 3.1 to compile a Pooma
"hello, world" program.  With "-Wall -Wno-sign-compare", only one
warning remains.  Thanks to everyone's help.

This is the only committed portion of the patch previously labelled
"Other Changes (3 of 3)".
