libyahoo2 is still broken, We are waiting for their next
release. Please wait till then. Immediately followed by their release,
we will make another release addressing all these issues.

| I have Slackware 9.0 with glib, readline and all other base libraries
| installed. Have been trying to compile freehoo, but no luck.

| 1. libyahoo2 compiled cleanly. I installed it to /tmp/libyahoo

| 2. configure script does nto seem to understand --with-yahoo2-path
| even though it says it does. Despite passing it the value
| /tmp/libyahoo2, it refused to find the library. it was only after
| moving the library to /usr/local/lib that configure found it

| 3. After finding libyahoo2, configure stops at
| libreadline. libreadline is present on the system (v4.3) in
| /usr/lib. Even after explicitly passing configure the path with
| --with-readline-path it is still unable to find it.
