This seems to work for me:

  % mkdir build && cd build

  % cmake -Denable-framework=off ..

  % make

  % find . -name ‘*.dylib’

  ./src/libfluidsynth.3.2.1.dylib

  ./src/libfluidsynth.dylib

  ./src/libfluidsynth.3.dylib
