Despite compiling without PortAudio, I still receive the 'zombified'
notification

fluidsynth: warning: Failed to allocate a synthesis process. (chan=3,key=38)

Also when sending a list of 'select' commands a flood of
   fluid_ostream_printf: buffer overflow

  1.0.8 has no such problems.

Hi Dave and thanks for your bug report. This is not a known bug to me and so I'm wondering
1) what is the exact command line you use to start FluidSynth and
2) is the "fluidterm" application available for download, so I could try to reproduce it on my side?
