The only thing I can think of is if someone really wants a sound to be less than the minimum note duration assigned. But if it defaults to 10ms or something, that would be an extremely short sound I would guess. So it sounds fine to me. We could have that value default to something like 10 and if the user doesn't like it, they can change it.
