Hi, the ramsfont is used to deal with samples _not_ coming from a 
soundfont file, bbut from the host app. To my knowledge, it is only 
used by the fluidXtra (http://www.as-ci.net/fluidXtra/), but I think 
that it is a powerfull feature and could become even more powerful.
