What features do you require for your simulations?

We are planning for a "documentation day" in the near future to complete the documentation on the interface.

The python interface has come a long way over the last few months and we are now using it productively for our own simulations. We are focusing our development effort nearly exclusively on the python branch and prefer completing missing parts of the interface over spending time on the tcl branch, since we will definitely retire the tcl interface soon.

Hello all,

In August I was told by Rudolf that the python interface was about 80% complete.  I've just now downloaded the git master-espresso release and compiled espresso (the python-espresso src cmake broke on my computer).  Python seems to work although more complete documentation would be very useful.  Is there enough of the interface so, going forward, I can use it instead of TCL?

Thanks,

Michael
