I follow the normal path:

git clone git://git.savannah.nongnu.org/espressomd.git

cd espressomd

./bootstrap.sh

./configure  --with-cuda --prefix=/share/users/farahpour/opt/Espresso/last_git/translocation/our_field/cuda/lb-elec/ LDFLAGS="-L/share/users/farahpour/opt/tcl8.4/lib -L/usr/local/cuda/lib64" CPPFLAGS=-I/share/users/farahpour/opt/tcl8.4/include 

make

make install

then I run the Espresso with 

/share/users/farahpour/opt/Espresso/last_git/translocation/our_field/cuda/lb-elec/bin/Espresso

I just recently moved a function from vtf.tcl to the (newly created) file vtk.tcl. It seems that something went wrong when you got your copy of the development version of ESPResSo and you are missing that file.

As a quick fix for you, just take the missing file attached to this mail and put it in the scripts folder of ESPResSo.

Also can you please give me the exact sequence of commands that you used to obtain your copy of the development branch. I need to fix this as I suppose other people will run into this problem as well.

Is this problem due to a bad installation process or a problem in source
code? Do have any idea for me to fix it?
