If have no experience with the mbtools packages, but this looks to me as 
though you are missing the Tcl-package "cmdline", which probably 
supports some kind of commandline editing interface. Look for it via 
Google, and try to get it installed. If you have some problems, write 
them again on the mailing list, where some of the makers of mbtools are 
listening.

Alternatively, you can probably just comment the line in mmsg.tcl, but 
this is just a guess.
