Oops. That should have been:
(url-irc (url-generic-parse-url "%s"))
Although, it looks like the preferred way to do this is actually the
following, which allows url.el to automatically pick the right handler
(irc, in this case).
(url-retrieve-synchronously "%s")
IRC URLs can look like:
- irc://server/nick,isnick
- irc://server/#channel
