Configurable muse mark-up would be a nice feature
in other contexts too. For example: In the
ruby-programming language a wiki-like mark-up
syntax is used to write in-line documentation.
If muse had a configurable mark-up feature
muse-mode could be used to write such documentation
and the people mending ruby-mode would not have to
care about supporting the ruby documentation syntax
and could concentrate on the other features of their
mode (Switching between two or more major modes
can be accomplished by MMM mode [1]).
Ciao Stefan
PS Does anybody know if there are other
programming language modes for which such
a feature would be profitable?
