... oh, the other really hackish thing I do is completely override the
default planner-muse markup for tasks and notes. I removed the markup
lines for those and hacked my Planner to markup the <notes> tag, then
call sacha/planner-markup-tasks and sacha/planner-markup-notes.

Ugly hack. I think your workaround is much better! I should switch to
the find-file approach... =)
