I'm currently working on trying to fix this problem.

I've found some dust under the carpet, so to speak, in the handling of
the file-alist.  It might take a bit of time to fix completely, but
the current symptoms include the ".html" being left off of some Wiki
pages, sometimes, after publishing.  The problem was augmented with
the new patch that fixes nested wiki problems, but since that patch
seems right, I'll keep trying to fix the "real" problem, whatever that
may be.

The latest patch I turned in (patch-29) moves a few functions from
emacs-wiki to emacs-wiki-publish.el, just to give you all fair
warning.  Nothing major though.
